Co-founder of OYOB, Patrick brings extensive expertise from his architectural practice and his time as a director at a mid-sized Melbourne firm. His early career with Edmund and Corrigan profoundly influenced his perspective on architecture’s impact on people’s lives. Patrick’s knowledge has established OYOB as a respected, profitable design-oriented property development company. As director and chairman, he oversees projects and guides the practice’s development, culture, and governance.
Aynkaran Sivaratnam
CEO & Director
Aynkaran Sivaratnam, CEO & Director, has been instrumental in building OYOB into a robust business. Qualified in the UK, he began his career as a management accountant in London before returning to Melbourne as Financial Controller for a National Australian Bank subsidiary. He held senior finance roles at American Express and Carlson Wagonlit Travel. After 25 years in the corporate world, Aynkaran co-founded OYOB in 2012, initially as Financial Controller, then CFO, and became CEO in 2019. Under his leadership, OYOB now manages a property and development portfolio valued at over $250 million. He collaborates with Patrick and Dhil to ensure staff, investors, and projects are aligned towards value creation.
